Ever since the United States Postal Service polled the
American people on which Elvis stamp we preferred it seems philatelic plebiscites
are running amuck. Case in point: Straw polls indicate the Breast Cancer
Awareness stamp is running 60 percentage points ahead of the Prostate Cancer
Awareness commemorative. Breasts are just more popular than prostates, what
ya gonna do? Maybe something should be done! As organs go, breasts get a
lot more exposure in the media these days than do prostates. Perhaps it's
time for Art Gone Postal to take a stand and make sure the lowly prostate
gets the exposure it deserves. Or maybe not.
